Before Eyelid Surgery

As with all surgeries, smokers are advised to quit smoking at least 2 weeks in advance. Patients should tell their doctor what medicines they are taking. Blood thinners, in particular, may need to be stopped or modified before surgery. At the same time, eye drops and related drugs should be stopped.

After Eyelid Surgery

Patients can be discharged the same day after surgery, or they may need to stay in the hospital for 1 day. There may be swelling and bruising around the eyes. This condition will expire in 1 week. It’s important not to get too tired of the seams. Stitches 5-7. days. It is necessary to look around so that the eyes are not overtired and not strained by sudden movements. Patients can resume social life after 1 week to 10 days.
